     This directory contains archives for the GRASS Programmers' and Users'
electronic mailing list forums.  The grassu directory contains archives for
the Users' list, and the grassp directory contains archives for the
Programmers' list.

     Each directory contains a file for each month of our archives, as well
as a file named Archive.Z which contains a cleaned-up version of all of the
archives, stored in one file.

     If you have the uncompress command on your local machine, type the
following to receive the file:

ftp> type binary
ftp> get Archive.Z

     If you do not have access to the uncompress utilities, the following
will uncompress the file for you:

ftp> get Arc-12-91

     Note the absence of the .Z suffix on this command.
