This directory contains the source code for
GRASS 5.0 beta in gzipped tar format.  


The large (25 mb) file grass5.0beta_src.tar.gz is the
whole source in a single file.  If you get this
file, you only need to type the following after
you ftp it:

        gunzip grass5.0beta_src.tar.gz
	tar -xvf grass5.0beta_src.tar

This will create the necessary directories and
files for you to compile GRASS.

cd to the src/CMD directory and read the INSTALL
text file.
